Kak Varley Accepts Award At The IHC Forum

Kak Varley (@KakVarley) accepted the John J. Robbins Senior Memorial Healthcare Consumerism Leadership Award on behalf of Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield CEO and President Chet Burrell, nominated by CodeBaby for his mission to make healthcare affordable.

The award was presented at The Institute of Healthcare Consumerism's (@the_IHC) 2014 Forum West conference (#FORUMWest14).

Chet's mission as the President of Carefirst is clear: To serve those who need access to health care services in the most cost effective ways possible. In Burrell's words, "I wanted to make a difference. It just turned out that being a CEO is how I am doing that now."
